Final Week for Sudan Photo Exhibit

The Ryan Spencer Reed photography exhibit, Sudan: The Cost of Silence, is in its final week at Muskegon Community College’s Overbrook Gallery. The exhibit, which closes Friday, Feb. 21, features a collection of 36 photographic prints. They are compiled from thousands of images Reed took on various visits to Sudan, Kenya, and Chad, while documenting the impact of two decades of civil war in southern Sudan as well as the crisis in the western Darfur region.

MCC Nursing Grads Exceed State, National Exam Pass Rates

In 2013, the Muskegon Community College Nursing Program graduates once again exceeded both Michigan and national averages on their first time pass rates on the National Council Licensing Examination for RNs and LPNs. Critically Acclaimed Comedy ‘Clybourne Park’

One of the most critically acclaimed plays produced in the past few years, Bruce Norris’ “Clybourne Park” will be presented by MCC’s Overbrook Players on Feb. 12-16 in Overbrook Theater. The hilariously unsettling comedy – inspired by Lorraine Hansberry’s 1959 play “A Raisin in the Sun” – features a battle over race and real estate and rages across two generations in a suburban Chicago neighborhood.
