How can MCC better meet student and community needs? Join MCC President, Dr. John Selmon, and other members of the leadership team at our annual Community Summit to provide your input.
Community members and students are encouraged to join the conversation about MCC’s institutional goals and provide feedback that will be used to prioritize initiatives for the coming year. This event is open to all and registration is not required.
The “MCC 2022-2026 Strategic Plan: Aspiring to Be the Best” was developed in 2021 with the input of 46 organizations and over 2,000 community members, students, and campus members from Muskegon, Ottawa, and Newaygo Counties. The integrated plan defines ten goals that aim to improve access, equity, and excellence over a 54-month implementation period. The annual community summits are an important component in ensuring that our strategic plan continues to be a “strategic plan for the community, by the community” and meets the evolving needs of the students and communities we serve. Visit www.muskegoncc.edu/aspiring for plan details and additional information about MCC’s integrated planning process.
