Founder’s Day – Murder Mystery Dinner
September 28 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm$40
Muskegon Community College will celebrate its Founder’s Day on Saturday, Sept. 28, with a murder mystery dinner in the large ensemble room of the newly renovated Art and Music Building.
Entitled “Murder at the Gallery,” the interactive show is being produced by Tom Harryman and Sheila Wahamaki, both members of the MCC theater faculty, with the help of Penelope Notter, formerly with Grand Rapids Civic Theater.
The event, which includes dinner and the show, runs from 6-9 p.m. and is open to the public. Tickets are $40 per person and may be purchased online at www.muskegoncc.edu/founders or by phoning the Foundation for MCC Office at (231) 777-0226. A cash bar and reverse raffle will also be available. All proceeds will be used to support Overbrook Theater, which is celebrating 50 years on the MCC campus.
Held annually during the fall, Founder’s Day commemorates the 1926 founding of Muskegon Community College as the fourth oldest community college in the state of Michigan.
