The MCC Christian Fellowship Club is sponsoring a talk, entitled “Defending Faith in a Culture of Deception” by Dr. Frank Turek, a dynamic speaker, award-winning author, and TV and radio show host, at three different times on Monday, Nov. 6.

All free and open to the public, the first talk is from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and the second is from 2-3:30 p.m. – both in Stevenson Center Room 1100 – while the third talk is at 7 p.m. in Collegiate Hall.

Turek has authored or co-authored four books: I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist, Stealing From God: Why Atheists Need God to Make Their Case, Correct, Not Politically Correct, and Legislating Morality.  As the President of CrossExamined.org, he impacts young and old alike at colleges, high schools and churches with hard yet entertaining evidence for Christianity.

He hosts an hour-long weekly TV program “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist on DirecTV and a weekly radio program, “CrossExamined with Frank Turek” that is streamed online.

Turek is a columnist for Townhall.com and has appeared on many TV and radio programs, including “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Hannity and Colmes,” “Faith Under Fire,” “Politically Incorrect,” “The Bible Answerman,” and “Focus on the Family.”

A former aviator in the U.S. Navy, he earned a master’s degree from George Washington University and a doctorate from Southern Evangelical Seminary.
