MCC Holiday Concert

$2The Muskegon Community College Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and College Singers will present their annual Holiday Concert on Friday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Central United Methodist Church, 1011 Second St., in downtown Muskegon. Admission is $2 per person.
The Wind Ensemble, Directed by Daniel M. Meyers, will perform:
- Ornaments! by Jon Bubbet
- Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant and Chris Eaton Arr. by Jay Dawson
- Russian Christmas Music by Alfred Reed
- Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24 by Paul O’Neil and Robert Kinel Arr. by Bob Phillips and George Megaw
The Jazz Ensemble, directed by Daniel M. Meyers, will perform:
- Go Tell It on the Mountain Arr. by Alan Baylock
- Land of Make Believe by Chuck Mangione Arr. by Mike Story
- A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi Arr. by Paul Murtha
- Winter Wonderland by Dick Smith and Felix Bernard Arr. by Jack Cooper
The College Singers, directed by Nicholas Palmer, will sing:
- This is Christmas by John Rzeznik
- Snowfall by Claude Thornhill and Ruth Thornhill
- Hanerot Halalu arr. Neil Ginsberg, featuring Quentin Dupont on saxophone
- English Carol Melody of traditional English Carols
Organist Nicholas Palmer will be featured in a solo performance of Carillion de Westminster by Louis Vierne.
