Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park

FreeMuskegon area residents will have two opportunities to commemorate America’s armed forces contributions – one a Veterans Salute on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Muskegon Community College, and the other a ceremony on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11, at Veterans Memorial Park the Causeway.

A Veterans Day ceremony will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Causeway Veterans Memorial Park.
The guest speaker will be Muskegon County Commissioner Robert Scolnik. The posting of the colors and a 21-gun rifle salute will be conducted by American Legion Post #9, the Marine Corps League Muskegon Detachment #703, and County Council members. Music will be provided by the Reeths-Puffer Middle School band. The Colonial Dames and the Daughters of the American Revolution will lay wreaths.
