Free Public COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Nov. 18 at MCC; Gift Cards to the First 40 Participants

Muskegon Community College will host a free public COVID-19 clinic providing booster vaccines for those who meet CDC eligibility guidelines, as well as first and second vaccines for those 12 years of age and older on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pediatric vaccines for those under 12 years of age will NOT be available at this clinic.

The clinic is being held in the MCC Health and Wellness Center, 221 S. Quarterline Road, on the main campus. No appointment or pre-registration is necessary, but participants must bring their vaccine card if they have been vaccinated. Parents must accompany their children under 18 years of age.

Participants will have a choice of the Johnson & Johnson (one dose vaccine for those 18 years and older), the Pfizer vaccine (two doses approved for those 12 years and older), or the Moderna vaccine.

The first 40 people to be vaccinated will each receive $25 in gift cards, made possible by a United Way of the Lakeshore COVID-19 grant, to either Meijer or Barnes and Noble.

MCC has been designated by the White House as an official Vaccine Champion College.
