Muskegon Community College will hold a weeklong Commencement celebration – including a drive-thru recognition of the graduates on campus – between June 22-26 to honor the Class of 2020.
The MCC Commencement Committee, which annually plans the graduation ceremony, is organizing this year’s virtual events. To allow those wanting the experience of the Commencement ceremony, the Class of 2020 graduates are being invited to participate in next year’s Commencement.
This year’s events are listed below. The videos will be posted daily on the College’s website at www.muskegoncc.edu/commencement and will be shared on MCC’s social media. The Student Graduation Drive-Thru will take place at the main campus south parking lot on Wednesday, June 24.

The MCC Class of 2020 Student Graduation Drive-Thru, organized by the MCC Faculty Association, will take place on campus from noon to 1 p.m. on June 24. Traditionally, MCC graduates begin the Commencement ceremony walking between two rows of applauding faculty in the arena. This year, the Class of 2020 graduates are invited to drive through the main campus south parking lot, where they will be congratulated by MCC faculty. Participating graduates should enter the south parking lot from Quarterline Road and drive through the lot toward the library, where the socially distanced faculty will be located on two sides of the vehicles, before exiting on to Marquette Avenue.
