MCC Historians to Discuss America’s National Parks on June 27 in Montague

The public is invited to learn about the history and development of America’s national parks during an informal presentation on Monday, June 27, from 6:30-8 p.m. at The Book Nook Java Shop, 8744 Ferry St., in Montague, MI.

MCC social scientists George Maniates and Kurt Troutman, a.k.a. “the History Guys,” will cover how the park system was developed, what it’s like to be a Park Service employee, and discuss opportunities to visit national parks in Michigan.
