MCC Lecture Series Looks at “The War in Ukraine” on March 30

The Muskegon Community College Lecture Series continues on Wednesday, March 30, with a discussion of “The War in Ukraine” at 6 p.m. in Overbrook Theater on the main campus.  The event is free and open to the public. Masks are welcomed but not required.

The presenters are David Takitaki, an adjunct instructor in social and behavioral studies at Ferris State University, and Nicholas Budimir, a social sciences instructor at MCC. Andy Wible, a philosophy instructor at MCC, will moderate the discussion.

“Those attending will learn about the history of Ukraine and its connection with Russia, why the war started and how it might conclude, as well as what actions individuals can take in response to it,” said Wible, who coordinates the MCC Lecture Series.
