The Carr-Fles Planetarium opens the new year with “Stars: The Powerhouses of the Universe.” The spectacular show, narrated by actor Mark Hamill of “Star Wars” fame, will be shown Jan. 8-Feb. 21 and again from March 5-April 11. Presentations are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m.
