Muskegon Community College is hosting College 101, a free event to provide answers to a lot of questions about college from prospective students and their parents.

The event takes place on Tuesday, March 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Collegiate Hall on the main campus, located at 221 S. Quarterline Rd. in Muskegon.

“College 101 was created to make sure you get everything done in a timely fashion to avoid unwanted enrollment obstacles.,” explained MCC Director of Admissions Stephanie Briggs. “We will discuss deadlines for FAFSA which is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, as well as registration, orientation, counseling, testing and textbooks.”

“Faculty and staff from our departments and offices will have booths to provide information regarding their programs and services. This is a great opportunity to ask those questions about college that keep you up at night and a great event to attend if you or your child is planning to attend MCC in the upcoming fall or winter semesters.”
