A panel discussion of “Socialism: What Is It?” will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Muskegon Community College.

The panelists are:
- Tom Burke, an organizer with FightBack! News;
- Marina Pavletić, an adjunct lecturer in geography at MCC and Ferris State University, who was born and raised in socialist Yugoslavia;
- Evin Rodkey, Ph.D, an anthropology instructor at MCC; and
- Phillip Snyder, representing Socialist Alternative, a Trotskyist political party in the U.S.
Budimir will moderate the discussion, which will be followed by a question-and-answer period
