Make a 15-second video about one of MCC’s new goals

We are preparing for the MCC 2022-2026 Strategic Plan Launch Celebration for Students and Community Stakeholders and are inviting students to star in the show!

The event will feature brief video comments from students about MCC’s new strategic plan goals. The 15-50-second video should: include your name, mention that you’re an MCC student, what you’re studying, and a positive comment about any goal or priority you like.

If you’d like your video to be included, send the recording file to strategic.planning@muskegoncc.edu or text it to (231)777-0660.  Videos for the launch event are needed by 11am Wednesday, April 20, but you’re welcome to submit one after that date for other promotional uses.

A few examples of comments are below, but you’re encouraged to create your own comments.

If you’re video recording is received by 11am Wednesday, April 20 and used in the April 21 presentation, we’ll email you a $5.00 Amazon gift card!

  • Hi, my name is Jane Doe.  I’m at MCC working on my transfer degree.  I think priority 3, excellence, is important because I want to get the best education possible to ensure a successful transfer.
  • I’m Joe Doe, a student at MCC.  I don’t know what my major will be yet, but I’m enjoying exploring my options.  I especially appreciate goal #6, because students need to have a good experience in order to succeed.
  • My name is Lukas and I’m a student at MCC.  I hope to earn an associate degree and then transfer.  I’m the first person in my family to attend college.  I think the strategic plan’s focus on equity is important because all students should feel like they belong.
