Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA)

The Gender & Sexuality Alliance started as the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) in the spring of 1999. At our meetings, we socialize, plan activities, and discuss and plan future projects. We also support one another, discuss issues relating to being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, and share information.

Our mission is to promote awareness and understanding and provide a positive campus environment and to bridge the gap between the different cultures. We hope these discussions promote personal growth, provide a place where members can discuss school and social issues as they relate to their sexuality, provide emotional support and foster a sense of pride.

The meetings are open to all students, staff, and visitors, and discussions are understood to be confidential in order to provide an open exchange of ideas.
