ART IS POWER
Join us Tuesday, November 11th from 6:30 – 8:30 at MCC’s Sturrus Technology Center, room 122 for a powerful evening of reflection and art.
Using artwork created by survivors of the Holocaust, speakers from the Zekelman Holocaust Center will guide the audience through an exploration of the role of the arts as acts of defiance and survival. The audience will explore art created by victims and survivors both during and after the Holocaust and examine their message and meaning for us today.
Come learn about the Holocaust through a different vantage point, consider what it took for people to still create art in times of great crisis, and develop a deeper understanding of the human experience!
