Direct Deposit

Beginning April 1, 2024, Muskegon Community College will no longer be issuing student refunds through Bankmobile. Instead, students may provide bank account information securely through MyMCC’s Self-Service to have their refunds directly deposited into their account. Students who have not provided bank account information will be issued refund checks mailed to the current address on the student’s record.

Students with existing Bankmobile bank accounts may continue to utilize banking services from Bankmobile. Please visit BankMobile Vibe Checking | BMTX | Online Banking for support with these accounts.

Refund Policy

Muskegon Community College believes that students should be allowed to attend at least one class meeting without penalty. During that class meeting you can review the detailed requirements of the course syllabus and estimate the workload required. This should enable you to make an informed judgment about the course and increase your probability of success.

Refunds will first be applied to any outstanding debts owed to the College by the student; the balance will be sent in an electronic disbursement through the student’s selected refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements no later than ten business days after the financial aid is awarded to the student’s account.

Schedule of Refund Days

Refund days for official withdrawal from college classes for any semester/session are based on BUSINESS DAYS, which are all weekdays, Mondays through Fridays, that the College is open. Click here to view the MCC refund schedule.

Refunds for Cancelled Courses – In the event of a cancelled course, refunds are automatic.
