Request For Proposals: Food Services

Muskegon Community College is seeking a qualified food service partner to relaunch on-campus dining and potentially provide catering services after a multi-year pause. The College is looking for a provider that aligns with its values around health, nutrition, sustainability, and student success, while offering a wide variety of menu options at accessible price points. The selected partner will also be expected to bring strong marketing strategies and innovative operational approaches that help rebuild and grow a vibrant dining program tailored to the evolving needs of the campus community. A mandatory on-site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7.

The College’s objectives emphasize delivering high-quality, affordable food with fast, efficient service that fits within short class breaks, while remaining competitive with nearby off-campus dining options. The partner must support affordability for students, many of whom rely on financial aid, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, transparency in reporting, and high customer satisfaction. Ultimately, MCC is seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking partner capable of sustaining a financially viable operation that benefits both the College and the broader campus community.

Request For Proposals: High-Fidelity Manikin

Muskegon Community College (MCC) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a high-fidelity medical training manikin, along with all required accessories, software, shipping, installation, and on-site training. The manikin must simulate realistic patient behaviors and conditions, including conversational speech, spontaneous breathing, seizures, palpable pulses, CPR feedback, and other clinical features. Vendors are also expected to supply supporting equipment such as a tablet with preloaded software, a bedside monitor, and scenario-based training materials. The goal is to enhance MCC’s healthcare education programs through advanced simulation technology.

Proposals are due by May 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., and must follow specific submission guidelines, including detailed pricing, vendor qualifications, references, and required certifications. MCC outlines a structured evaluation and selection process, with the possibility of presentations or interviews before a final vendor is chosen. The college reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and emphasizes that all communications during the bidding process must go through the designated RFP coordinator.
