Veterans Salute
Muskegon Community College (MCC) and local veteran service organizations will host the annual Veterans Salute on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM, to honor and pay tribute to military veterans for their courage, sacrifice, and service to our nation. The ceremony will take place at the MCC Health and Wellness Center, located at 221 S. Quarterline Road in Muskegon, and is free and open to the public.
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Muskegon County Airport CEO and MCC alumni, Ken Efting. Having served for over 20 years in the United States Airforce, Efting will reflect on the enduring importance of Veterans Day and the continued need to honor those who have worn the uniform of our nation’s armed forces.
The ceremony will include a Rifle Salute, Taps and reflections on service, sacrifice, and community. Light refreshments will be served following the program.
