Three nursing students laugh and look at papers and discuss notes together in a hospital room.

Take the first step toward a rewarding career in healthcare with Muskegon Community College’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This comprehensive five-week course is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living centers, and other healthcare settings.

Participants will receive classroom instruction and hands-on training in essential patient care skills, including personal care, safety procedures, communication techniques, infection control, and basic nursing support. The program is designed to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to provide compassionate care to patients while preparing for state certification requirements.

Healthcare continues to be one of the fastest-growing career fields, and becoming a CNA can serve as a valuable pathway to additional healthcare careers, including nursing and allied health professions.
