As the academic school year winds down, Muskegon Community College is inviting first through eighth grade students to beat the mid-summer heat with STEM camp, MCC’s hands-on learning and discovery workshop at the Sturrus Technology Center. A two-weeks long youth retreat, MCC’s STEM Camp offers an engaging opportunity for kids to dive into science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive, age-appropriate activities that are both educational and fun.

Sessions will run over two weeks: July 6 – 9, 2026, for Week 1, and July 13- 16 for Week 2. Each day offers an AM session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and a PM session from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

“STEM Camp is such a fun, educational, and rewarding experience for kids,” said Dr. Stephanie Briggs, MCC STEM Camp Coordinator. “Here at the Sturrus Technology Center, we’re creating an environment that supports both intellectual and emotional growth in children.”

The cost is $85 per class and includes tshirt, class cost, snacks and lunch.
