Muskegon Community College invites the community to celebrate its centennial Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the Overbrook Gallery, as MCC presents the Alumni Art Exhibition Reception. The event will showcase the incredible talent of MCC’s graduates as part of the College’s 100th anniversary celebration in 2026.

In addition to the exhibition, guests are encouraged to participate in the MCC History Roadshow, modeled after the popular PBS program Antiques Roadshow. Alumni, along with their family and friends, are invited to bring MCC memorabilia to share at the event. Attendees will be invited to share their oral histories, stories, and memories of their time at MCC.

“This is such an exciting moment for Muskegon Community College,” said Erin Hoffman, Overbrook Gallery Curator. “For decades, MCC has trained amazing artists who have gone on to do incredible things. To welcome them back to campus as we honor 100 years of excellence is truly special, and we can’t wait to celebrate both their artistry and their history.”

The reception and roadshow are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
