Tuesday, December 16, 2025
Muskegon Community College has announced the winners of its Fall 2025 Creative Writing and Art Contest, an annual competition that recognizes student achievement in creative writing and visual art. The contest was open to currently enrolled MCC students and featured multiple categories, with entries reviewed and selected by faculty judges using established evaluation criteria.
“These students have done exceptional work, and they deserve to be recognized for it,” said Dr. John Selmon, President of Muskegon Community College. “Their creativity, discipline, and willingness to share their ideas through art and writing speak volumes about who they are as students and as individuals. I am extremely proud of them, and their work is a powerful reminder of how bright, capable, and talented MCC students truly are.”
The Fall 2025 contest received submissions from students across a wide range of academic programs. Winning entries were selected for originality, technical execution, and clarity of expression.
