Muskegon Community College is urging the community to act quickly as tickets are selling rapidly for An Evening With MCC. The event, a celebration of MCC’s 100-year anniversary, is taking place Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center in downtown Muskegon.

Starting Tuesday, April 1, 2026, a $10 discount is available for all tickets with the coupon code “CELEBRATE.” The offer ends May 31, 2026.

The evening promises a night of fun, starting with a guitar performance during cocktail hour by MCC Alumni Nate Dill, followed by dinner. Later, guests will enjoy a live performance from the 10-piece horn rock band Westside Soul Surfers, dancing, and a live auction. Auction highlights include a five-night Hawaii Island escape for two, a seven-night Golden Ticket trip for six to destinations such as Orlando, Colorado, North Carolina, or Lake Tahoe, MSU football board suite tickets for four, and a chef’s tasting menu culinary experience for six.

Officials say, with eighty percent of the event already sold out, those interested in attending shouldn’t wait until the last minute to secure a seat.

“This is going to be a night to remember,” said MCC President, Dr. John Selmon. “The community is already coming out in big numbers, and anyone with a connection to MCC will not want to miss it.”
