Join Student Life for Beach Day 101: Fun in the Sun on Wednesday, July 22 and Wednesday, August 5 from 1–5:30 p.m. at PJ Hoffmaster State Park.

Note: The event on July 22nd may be cancelled due to wildfire smoke & poor air quality. Cancellation decision will be made by the morning of July 22nd. 

We will be meeting at the Picnic Shelter! Visit this website and select the P.J. Hoffmaster State Park map. Parking is available by the shelter!

The Recreation Passport is required for vehicle access to state parks and recreation areas, state-managed boating access sites, state forest campgrounds, thousands of miles of trails and other outdoor spaces – all year long! Learn how to get it, where it can take you and what it supports at Michigan.gov/RecreationPassport.

This “totally serious and scholarly” beach day invites students to relax, have fun outdoors, connect with friends, and explore one of the Lakeshore’s most popular destinations.

Students can enjoy the summer atmosphere, build connections with fellow classmates, and take a break while experiencing part of the greater Muskegon community.
