All Things Waste: Recycling Plant Field Trip
Join Muskegon Community College for an educational field trip exploring the world of recycling and waste management. Participants will travel to Grand Rapids to tour a recycling facility and gain firsthand insight into how recyclable materials are collected, sorted, processed, and transformed into new products.
This unique learning experience will examine the environmental, economic, and community benefits of recycling while highlighting the important role individuals play in reducing waste and conserving natural resources. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of sustainability practices and how everyday choices can contribute to a healthier planet.
