Suicide Prevention Month: Rock Painting

Join Muskegon Community College’s Nature Club and MCC Instructor Kathy Pollock for a meaningful rock painting event as part of Suicide Prevention Month.

Decorate rocks with uplifting messages, encouraging words, and symbols of hope that can inspire others throughout our campus and community. This creative activity offers a chance to relax, connect with others, and help promote a culture of compassion, support, and mental wellness.

Together, we’ll use art to encourage conversation, reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, and share the message that no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Date: Wednesday, September 23
Time: Noon–1:00 p.m.
Location: Blue & Gold Room

This event is open to all MCC students, faculty, and staff. All supplies will be provided, and no artistic experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome to participate.
