Muskegon Community College presents I See What You’re Playing: Jazz Portraits Reimagined, an exhibition of paintings by artist John Rieben.

The exhibition celebrates the connection between visual art, jazz and culture, offering a unique collection of jazz-inspired portraits that reimagine the musicians and spirit of the genre.

A free public reception and artist’s gallery talk will be held on Monday, September 14, from 3:30–4:30 p.m. at the Overbrook Gallery. Guests will have an opportunity to view the exhibition and hear directly from Rieben about his work and artistic process.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
