Muskegon Community College will welcome nationally recognized entrepreneur, media personality and ABC News contributor Mike Muse to campus for a timely look at how artificial intelligence is reshaping society, the workplace and the future of opportunity.

The Next 100: AI, Leadership, and the Future of Opportunity begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the Overbrook Theater on MCC’s main campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Drawing on his experience in technology, business, politics and media, Muse will examine how AI is reshaping society and its potential to create new opportunities and drive meaningful change.

“Understanding AI is becoming increasingly important for everyone, not just people who work in technology,” said MCC faculty member Dr. Andy Wible. “Giving people the opportunity to learn, ask questions and think critically about AI is an important first step.”

Muse is the founder of LawChamps, host of SiriusXM’s award-winning The Mike Muse Show, co-host of Sway in the Morning and an ABC News contributor for ABC News Live and the Good Morning America family. A former industrial engineer who transitioned into media and technology entrepreneurship, Muse has delivered two TED Talks, lectured at leading universities across the country and recently completed his national “Real Talk Drives Real Change” speaking tour.

Throughout his career, Muse has advised leaders in government and business. His experience includes serving on President Barack Obama’s National Finance Committee, the U.S. Small Business Administration’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative and the SBA Council on Underserved Communities. As a Google NextGen Tech Policy Fellow, he continues to contribute to conversations surrounding technology, innovation and public policy.
