HSO: Día de los Muertos Celebration
Join the Hispanic Student Organization for its annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration from 4–6 p.m. Thursday, October 22, in the Gerber Lounge.
Rooted in Mexican and Latin American traditions, Día de los Muertos is a time to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. This year’s celebration will feature sugar skull decorating, along with free food, drinks and games.
The event is an opportunity to build community and share cultural heritage. Decorated sugar skulls will be displayed in the Library as part of the college’s annual Día de los Muertos altar.
All students and staff are welcome.
