Mission: Math Placement

Muskegon Community College invites students to Mission: Math Placement, a focused opportunity to review math concepts, get help from an instructor and prepare for the ALEKS PPL placement assessment. Students can work toward qualifying for a math course for Winter 2027 without the demands of a full class schedule.

Students are encouraged to give themselves the gift of peace of mind by reviewing and qualifying for a math course before the college closes for the holidays. Students may attend as many sessions as they wish.

What to expect:

  • Time to review and practice in ALEKS PPL

  • An instructor available to help with math review

  • Free lunch for students who RSVP by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7

Students should complete the ALEKS PPL Initial Assessment before attending, if possible. Students who are ready to retest can schedule an appointment with the Testing Center for later that week or Jan. 4-8. Winter 2027 classes begin Jan. 11.

When: Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 14-15, 2026
