WHY HEALTHCARE?
The healthcare industry is growing at an unprecedented rate and is projected to generate more new jobs than any other industry. This is due in part to our aging population and ongoing changes in healthcare. MCC works closely with area healthcare agencies to determine their hiring needs, developing and strengthening both new and existing programs that will insure a well-educated workforce to provide care for healthcare consumers in West Michigan. At MCC, we want our health professions students to be successful in their chosen fields and work closely through partnerships with Trinity Health Muskegon, Corewell Health, West Michigan Works!, local physician offices, community health organizations, and schools, giving the students every opportunity for success.
