Throughout the year, our Admissions Department hosts a variety of events to help future students, families, and community members explore what MCC has to offer. From campus tours and open houses to info sessions and program spotlights, there’s always something happening.

UPCOMING:
DUAL ENROLLMENT
Muskegon Community College will host a Dual Enrollment 101 information session on Monday, April 20, from 5:00 – 5:45 p.m. in Room 1300.
This session is designed for high school students and their families who want to learn more about dual enrollment opportunities at MCC. Attendees will receive an overview of eligibility requirements, the enrollment process, available courses, costs, and the benefits of earning college credit while still in high school.
Participants are also invited to stay for an optional campus tour from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m., immediately following the presentation. Students and families considering dual enrollment are encouraged to attend to learn how MCC can help them get a head start on college.

PAYING FOR COLLEGE
Learn about multiple ways to help pay for college, from financial aid, grants, scholarships, Promise and Reconnect! Representatives* from Muskegon Promise, FAFSA and Reconnect will be there to help explain all of the resources available and process to apply for $ to help towards educational expenses. Don’t have your diploma or GED? Trio Educational Opportunity will be there to help with resources towards pursuing one.

HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR VISIT DAYS 2026
Interested in visiting MCC before you graduate high school? Senior Visit Days are your opportunity to complete all of your admission steps in one convenient visit — before you walk across the graduation stage.
During your visit, you’ll attend Student Orientation, meet with a counselor, schedule placement testing (if applicable), review financial aid, register for classes (after April 24), set up your photo ID, and explore campus.
