Student Clubs & Organizations
Muskegon Community College encourages its students to participate in a variety of organized clubs to gain experience in leadership and cooperative planning, and to take advantage of the opportunity for social interaction. Full-time faculty and staff advisors oversee each club. Club members must be actively enrolled as MCC students.

Christian Fellowship | Kristin Tank | kristin.tank@muskegoncc.edu | The Christian Fellowship Club (InterVarsity) is a place for MCC students of any background or belief to explore Jesus in a welcoming community. We offer weekly small group Bible studies and conferences with other InterVarsity student chapters from other colleges and universities in Michigan. Students who cannot attend meetings are encouraged to join us for student-led, informal activities. This is a student-led club; all students are welcome. |

The club offers various resources and opportunities to assist in this journey, including: Guest Speakers: Professionals share insights on topics such as professional school applications and careers in healthcare. Peer Support: A community that fosters academic and moral support among health pre-professional students. Mentorship: Connections with students currently enrolled in professional schools to provide guidance and firsthand experiences. Community Service: Opportunities to engage in volunteer activities, enhancing both personal growth and community well-being. Leadership and Professional Development: Chances to develop leadership skills and activities aimed at fostering professional development. Facilitate Campus Visits and Meetings with Transfer Advisors: Assistance in organizing visits to partnering institutions and meetings with transfer advisors to help students plan their educational pathways. The Muskegon Community College chapter is Sigma Zeta. As a nationally recognized Honor Society, we strive to confer a distinction of high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate studies; we provide cultural stimulation on campus which promotes an interest in literature and the English language, while fostering all aspects of the discipline of English, including literature, language, and writing. The SNC provides opportunities for nursing students to develop professionally, engage with the community, and support one another throughout their academic journey.
