Latest Art Exhibit Will Celebrate MCC Faculty Works
Tuesday, January 13, 2026
Muskegon Community College (MCC) will present a Faculty Art Exhibit at the Overbrook Art Gallery, featuring artwork created by MCC art faculty members. The exhibit will be on display from January 20 through February 26, 2026, and is free and open to the public.
A public reception will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. During the reception, a panel discussion will take place, providing attendees an opportunity to ask participating artists about their artwork, ideas, and creative processes.
“The exhibit offers an opportunity to see the level of talent represented among MCC’s art faculty,” said MCC 3-D Art Faculty Chip Vander Wier. “It also helps students and community members understand that MCC students are learning from practicing artists who are actively engaged in their fields.”
The Overbrook Art Gallery is located on MCC’s campus at 221 S. Quarterline Road in Muskegon. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with free admission.
