“As You Like It”

Tony Winner Shaina Taub and Laurie Woolery’s musical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s As You Like It is a tale of utopian Arden, filled with feuding families and mistaken identity, featuring an original folk-pop score. In case you’re not familiar with the original, here’s the story in a nutshell: Forced from their homes, Orlando, Duke Senior, his daughter Rosalind, and niece Celia escape to the Forest of Arden, a magical place of transformation and self-discovery, where all are welcomed and embraced. Lost amidst the trees, the refugees find acceptance under the stars.
