Learn about the life and legacy of Katherine Dunham, a groundbreaking dancer, choreographer, anthropologist and educator whose work transformed American dance and expanded the role of cultural traditions in movement.
No previous dance experience is required.
Open to the public, the masterclass is for anyone interested in movement, culture and the art of dance.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and clean socks or be prepared to dance barefoot.
