Suicide Prevention Month: Trees of Remembrance (ALL MONTH LONG)
Suicide Prevention Month: Trees of Remembrance
Throughout the month of September, the Muskegon Community College community is invited to participate in Trees of Remembrance, a meaningful display of healing, hope, and remembrance in recognition of Suicide Prevention Month.
Memory trees will be available for students, faculty, staff, and community members to decorate with heart-shaped ornaments honoring a loved one who has passed, celebrating someone who has made a difference in their life, or offering a message of hope for themselves or someone they care about.
This ongoing display provides a quiet space for reflection while reminding us that every life matters and that no one has to face life’s challenges alone. Together, we can foster a campus culture of compassion, support, and connection.
When:Â Throughout the month of September
Location:Â Student Lounge, Art & Music Building
Everyone is welcome to participate by adding a heart to the Trees of Remembrance and helping create a powerful symbol of healing, hope, and community.
