Sensory Herbal Garden
Sensory Herbal Garden
This summer, Muskegon Community College restored its herbal sensory garden, bringing new life to a unique campus feature that had sat dormant for nearly two decades.
Located in the Stevenson Center courtyard, the garden was revitalized as part of MCC’s Centennial year and ongoing efforts to preserve meaningful spaces that connect the college’s history with its future.
A sensory garden is designed to engage multiple senses through carefully selected plants that offer distinctive colors, textures, fragrances, and sounds, creating an immersive outdoor experience for visitors.
