MCC Embarks on Innovation Journey

Friday, October 31, 2025

Muskegon Community College’s Center for Experiential Learning invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to take part in an educational journey to the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan, on Friday, November 7, 2025.

The one-day trip gives participants the chance to experience one of the nation’s most celebrated museums dedicated to American ingenuity, history, and progress—all while learning beyond the classroom. A chartered bus will depart at 6:15 AM from Muskegon Community College, located at 221 S. Quarterline Rd., Muskegon, MI 49442.
The cost is $100 per person, which includes round-trip transportation and museum admission. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

“Trips like these help build community and offer education through up-close and personal experiences,” said George Maniates, Chair of Social Sciences at MCC. “Why read about innovation when you can see it come to life?”

The trip, hosted by the Center for Experiential Learning, reflects MCC’s ongoing commitment to providing immersive, hands-on educational opportunities that connect academic study to real-world discovery.
