‘MCC on Tap’ Continues with 3rd Installment
Thursday, February 5, 2026
Muskegon Community College (MCC) will host the third installment of its MCC on Tap Lecture Series, titled MCC on Tap Presents: The Fourth “F”: The Evolved Psychology of Human Sexual Behavior, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
The lecture will be held at the Brewer’s Lounge at Pigeon Hill Brewing Company, 895 4th Street in Muskegon. The program begins at 6:00 p.m., with doors to the lecture area opening at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Food and beverages are not included with admission.
The presentation will be led by MCC Social Sciences Faculty, Dr. Jacob Pappas. The lecture will examine sex differences in attraction and sexual behavior and discuss evolutionary theories that seek to explain these differences. The discussion aims to address common cultural assumptions, including the idea that men and women differ fundamentally in their approaches to relationships and attraction.
According to MCC Provost Dr. Tucker Brown, the series has gained steady interest since its launch.
“Watching MCC on Tap grow has been really rewarding,” Dr. Brown said. “Now in its third installment, the series has clearly become a favorite in the MCC community, and an event people look forward to experiencing together.”
The MCC on Tap Lecture Series is designed to connect faculty expertise with the broader community through off-campus venues that encourage conversation and engagement.
