Why I chose to teach at MCC:
Community colleges are a great value for students. I like the community/family atmosphere and small class sizes at MCC. At MCC, I am able to make personal connections with students and serve as a mentor. We have state-of-the-art science facilities, including biotechnology equipment, high-quality microscopes, and wireless probes for precise data collection and analysis. As a nature enthusiast, the campus of MCC, with its natural setting and designated Nature Trail, is a huge bonus.

MORE ABOUT ME

  • I enjoy interacting with students and figuring out how to take a complex concept and break it down for easier understanding.
  • Family is extremely important to me. I cherish spending time together, whether during holiday gatherings or sharing the little things of everyday life.
  • Besides teaching, my other passions are graphic design and photography, taking hikes, and playing frisbee catch with my dog.
  • I believe in sustainable living. I try to contribute to local sustainability by growing fresh vegetables and donating them to local food pantries.
  • My passion for exploring the great outdoors extends to the underground…I like to go caving.
