“I’ve found my family here at MCC. If it weren’t for MCC’s mental health resources, I might still be in a cold basement, sleeping on an air mattress, watching bootleg DVDs on a broken TV. And here I am—pursuing my associate’s degree in Health Science to become a nurse. Thank you MCC—not only for giving me a second chance to build my adult life, but for helping me to bring out my very best self.”
