Auditions for “SPRING AWAKENING”

Muskegon Community College’s Overbrook Players announce auditions for SPRING AWAKENING, the Musical – Music by Duncan Sheik, Book and Lyrics by Steven Sater. The auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, December 3 and 4, at 6:00 pm in the Overbrook Theater on the Muskegon Community College campus.

SPRING AWAKENING will be presented February 20 – 24, 2019. Winner of 8 tony awards this groundbreaking rock musical is about adolescent love, the trials of puberty and the friendships that young people build in the face of an uncomprehending world. SPRING AWAKENING has become the must-see musical of a new generation.

Needed are 7 men and 6 women. All auditioning are asked to prepare a song sing. Please bring either sheet music or a Karaoke track. Everyone auditioning must sing with accompaniment.

There will be dancing and reading from the script during the audition. All are also asked to wear clothing and shoes for movement.
