“Where were you when the Towers fell?”

9/22/2021 @ 6:45 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Muskegon Community College History Instructors George Maniates and Kurt Troutman take MCC’s Center for Experiential Learning on the road to discuss the life-changing consequences and ongoing repercussions that followed the terrible events of September 11, 2001.  The public is invited to join in reverence and remembrance.

MCC Instructor and U.S. Army Veteran Rob Kumpf will share his memories of being a young man in New Jersey on that fateful day that the world stopped turning. Guitarist Kwame James will provide musical accompaniment and ballads of the period.
