For the final event of the day, join Jim Meierhoff, a recent Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and affiliated with The Field Museum. Jim will discuss the Maya, including their history and aspects of their culture and art, as well as his archaeological work excavating sites in modern-day Central America, touching on how the descendants of Maya live now as well.
