Ahfest Film Festival: Moonlight
On Wednesday evenings throughout October, the 2017 Muskegon Area Arts and Humanities Festival (ahfest) will show and discuss four films associated with WATER, the ahfest’s theme this year, at the Muskegon Museum of Art, 296 W Webster Ave. in downtown Muskegon. Admission is free and open to the public. Each movie will be followed by a brief discussion. All films begin promptly at 5 p.m., when the doors will be closed. Two Muskegon Community College vocal groups, the Collegiates and the College Singers, will perform on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m. at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon. Internationally Renowned Playwright Eve Ensler at the Frauenthal Center
Eve Ensler, an American playwright, performer, feminist, and activist who is known internationally for her play The Vagina Monologues, will speak at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. with live music, book sales, and a cash bar.
