The MCC Jayhawks Cross Country teams kicked off their seasons at the Raider-Knight Cross Country meet at Calvin College.

Raegen Lockhart (Reeths-Puffer) led the way for the women, finishing 22 overall with a time of 20:38. Macy Whipple (Oakridge) was 28th in a time of 21:07 and Kaylin Meyers (Mona Shores) ran 26:36.

The men’s team was led by Adam Wolffis (Montague) who ran 29:10 and finished 37th overall. Also scoring for the men was Kaden Hainer (Montague) who finished in 31:25 and Denver Borst (Lakeshore) who finished in 31:51. Jordan Seeley (Fruitport) and Zach Pray (Fruitport) rounded out the scoring.

MCC returns to action on 9/24 when they travel to Grayling for the Kirtland Community College Invite.
