The Jayhawk Golf Team opened the spring season with a trip to Lexington, KY for the Garn Invitational, hosted by Spring Arbor.

This course is extremly dificult and the conditions were less than ideal. Round 2 was halted due to darkness, but after 1 1/2 rounds Ben Zwick (Ludington) leads the Jayhawk contingent with a score of 83. Tyler Tallefson (Reeths-Puffer) shot 90, Mitch Taylor (Mona Shores) shot 94, Dylan Lisman (Spring Lake) shot 96 and Dyllan Bazzett (Newaygo) shot 108. Also competing as individuals were Nate McNarland (Mona Shores) with a 98 and Ross Sanford (Muskegon Catholic Central) with a 100.

The team will complete round 2 and 3 will be played on Tuesday, 3/26.
