The Men’s Basketball team lost on the road 89-68 to the Hope College JV Team.

MCC continues to play without 2 key players from last year and they were dealt another blow last night when Jadakiss Lewis left the game in the first half with an injujry and did not return. In the first half MCC the Jayhawks battled a tough Hope team bucket for bucket and went into the locker room down by a point, 36-35. But in the second half Hope caught fire and outscored MCC by 20 for the final margin of victory. Ben Clark (Potter House) led the Jayhawks with 16 points and 9 rebounds,Tate Stine (Montague) finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Kaden George (Spring Lake) added 10 points. Joe Russau (Wyoming Lee) finished with 9 points and 8 rebounds.

MCC is 1-1 on the season. They return to action at home against Grace Christian University JV on Thursday, 11/16. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
